Love this place. Super friendly staff, I especially love that when you check in, the staff brings you to and helps park you in the spots, that's nice. It's right on the bay, makes it cool to explore the ocean or get on the water. Lots to do for kids. Dog friendly. It's close to lakes, downtown shops, stores, etc. Some sites are a bit to close or not enough nature to divide up the sites, but it's peaceful. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

We tented out on a small cliff overlooking the ocean. The experience was amazing. We walked the rocky beach and went swimming. The owners are really nice. And helpful. I like carting our gear to the tent site as it beats having cars coming and going in such a peaceful space. We'll definitely be back.

We visited for the Fiber College and I was really impressed by the location. Cute little playground, beautiful gardens and nice view of the ocean. We live in the same town but will try camping here in the future. I think my son would really enjoy it.

Anyway we have a house in Wildwood Florida where the eye of Hurricane Irma passed over. We need to get down to help clean and fix ours and our neighbors houses. Some houses were totally destroyed by the hurricane. A few days after the hurricane we had to cancel 6 reservations at different campgrounds up north. I explained the issue and Searsport Shores is the only campground that we could not receive all or even part of our reservation fee back.

First, we never received a confirmation letter when we booked months ago. Every other campground sends confirmation emails.

Our family's favorite campground! We spend at least a week every summer and can't say enough good things about Searsport Shores. Beautiful grounds and gardens, kid and pet friendly, helpful staff, I could go on and on. The Artist in Residence program brings a new artist to the campground each week to share their craft with the campers. No cheesy candy bar bingo or Elvis impersonators here. Instead the kids spend time with area artists or simply playing in the tide pools and exploring. Absolutely awesome experience every time we go!
